Ministries Today
Today, the Church continues its outreach tradition, including such activities as:
* Mission Trip to Aid Hurricane Katrina Victims. Five members went to Louisiana, helping clean and repair storm-damaged buildings.
* Mission Trip to Colombia. A teenager from the Church went to Medellin in Colombia to help street kids and bring them needed clothing.
* Littleton Group Home Projects. Church members and friends
built picnic tables and an outdoor shelter for this home
for teenagers.
*
Books for Institutionalized Romanian Children. As a Lenten project, the Church
organized folks to sew book bags and make developmentally appropriate books for
handicapped Romanian children.
*
Book Drive for GIs in Afghanistan. Members
and friends collected more than 450 paperbacks -- and baked
cookies -- for our soldiers in Afghanistan.
*
Habitat for Humanity. Church people helped
fund and build a home in Ayer.
* Neighborhood Supper. Church members founded this ecumenical ministry, held at the Church weekly, which offers dinner to 70-85 lonely or needy folks.
* Seniors Game & Craft Day. This monthly outreach provides tea or coffee and snacks -- a pleasant, social afternoon for the Communities older people.
* Support for Loaves & Fishes. Church members
and friends regularly work at this local food pantry and
also help provide food and toiletries to the needy.

In addition, the Deacons offer caring ministries to Parishioners by sending greeting cards to the sick, making hospital visits, arranging for meals and transportation for those who need them, visiting shut-ins, and the like.
