As you may have heard, we are in the process of making new pew racks for the sanctuary. The pews themselves have been painted beautifully, so putting back the old pew racks did not make sense. In order to save labor costs, we are seeking the help of anyone in our congregation and/or their friends with some carpentry and woodworking skills. The property committee will provide the wood and a sample of the new pew rack. We are asking help to fabricate, assemble, stain, and mount a total of 50 pew racks. The concept is to breakdown the work into small tasks such as cut-ting out wood pieces, assembly or installation etc. Our goal is to complete this project in time for Easter which is April 8th.
