Some Helpful Skills & Talents
We need a variety of skills and talents, but since we work as a team no one person has to have them all, just a willingness to share what skills you have and benefit from everyone else’s skills. The one common trait all CE members have is a willingness to commit to supporting at least one of the CE programs. CE members make the program(s) they support, be it VBS, Sunday School, Youth Groups, Adult Education opportunities, or a particular special event or program a priority in their lives. Serving in Christian Education is more than a notion, it is a commitment.
Committee Composition/Term Of Office
Six Committee Members, each serving three year terms, along with the Minister of Christian Education and the leadership of the Sunday School and the youth groups.
Groups Served
Everyone – from the oldest (adult ed and events) to the youngest baby (the nursery). We particularly focus on children and youth and their families so we often especially serve
newer families. Our programs may be an entry into the Congregational Church (VBS, Book Discussion, etc) for visitors.
