Youth in grades 6, 7 and 8 meet weekly on Sunday mornings in a class that is also a youth group — the Middle School Youth Group (MSYG). Guided by the leadership team of Kelly Robinson and Chris Dupuis, with support from a number of other adults, the group focuses on service to the church and the community as well as opportunities for fun, friendship and faith exploration. The first Sunday of each month the group serves the church by greeting, ushering, and providing coffee hour. The rest of the month follows the general plan of a fun Sunday, a thinking Sunday, and a service to the outside world Sunday. About once a month the group meets at another time of day for a service or fun activity. Recently the MSYG worked at Group’s Big Day of Service in CT. Last year they served at Cradles to Crayons and the Lowell Transitional Living Center and spent 2 days on a Heifer International Learning Experience.
If you’ve got a young person in your house entering the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in September, please encourage them to be a part of the Middle School Youth Group.
The Church adheres to a Safe Church Policy for all children.
